There are 5 Standing Committees established by Council and comprised of members of Council. 

Community and Protective Services Committee

The Community and Protective Services Committee is a standing committee that reports directly to the Municipal Council. The Committee hears delegations from the public, present reports and recommendations to City Council.

The City Clerk shall direct the following general matters to the Community and Protective Services Committee for consideration and report to the Council:

Planning and Environment Committee

The Planning and Environment Committee is a standing committee that reports directly to the Municipal Council.  The Committee hears delegations from the public, present reports and recommendations to City Council.

Strategic Priorities and Policy Committee

The Strategic Priorities and Policy Committee is a standing committee comprised of the Mayor and all Council Members.  The Committee oversees the budget as well as other strategic initiatives. The Committee reports directly to the Municipal Council.

The City Clerk shall direct the following general matters to the Strategic Priorities and Policy Committee for consideration and report to the Council:
