Amenities

The Stronach Community Recreation Centre is your Northeast London Community Connection! Stronach is a multi-purpose facility that offers a variety of rental and programming opportunities.  In addition, there are two  ice pads (which serve as floor pads in the summer), a large outdoor pool with waterslide (open seasonally), five baseball diamonds and a district level skateboard park.

Arena

Amenities at this arena include: 

  • Two ice surfaces
  • Public skating available during winter season
  • Spectator seating available and heated viewing area
  • Concession open during prime hours, supplying hot and cold beverages along with snacks
  • Dry pad available for summer months

  • Skate sharpening available during winter months
Outdoor pool 

Located at 1221 Sandford Street outside of the community centre, this is a heated leisure swim pool with a water slide and a beach area with spray features. The facility is accessible by beach or water wheelchair entry.

Stronach skateboard park

Located at 1221 Sandford Street outside of the community centre, this park is geared towards beginners and intermediate level skaters and features fun boxes, a bank structure, a pocket wall, a ledge structure, and a fun box and ramp combination.

Meeting room
  • Room can be divided into two separate rooms (A side and B side) with a sliding dividing door.
  • Divided rooms are equally 20 feet by 40 feet.
  • A side includes kitchenette.  B side includes sink only.
  • Large meeting room or Room A includes:  1 drop down media screen, electrical hook-up.
  • Blackout blinds and a hidden projector screen and projector.
